How it works

All you need to do is go to our timetable and sign-up for the classes you want to attend. To get started, take advantage of our Special Introductory Offer of just $10 for Unlimited classes at any Bottoms Up! location in your first 7 days. After that you have the option to pay casually or go onto a weekly membership (no joining fee, cancel at any time).

What kind of training will I be doing?

Check out the description for each class on the timetable by clicking the class name. The sessions we do are a mix of cardio, functional movement, boxing and free weights to really keep your body guessing. We also provide Yoga classes to keep your muscles long and flexible and your mind calm, fresh and focused.

Weights are important because we need to build a little lean muscle in order to help our bodies burn more fat when we’re not exercising. But don’t worry, it’s not the kind of program where you’ll bulk up – our workouts are designed specifically for women and target the problem areas of our bodies (yes, it is possible!), helping us to develop long, lean, healthy bodies.

All sessions are designed to be loads of fun so you will actually enjoy yourself and find it easier to stick with it (no more gym memberships you never actually use!). When combined with the right nutrition advice we have a proven formula to achieve amazing results in a short period of time.

How much does it cost?

Group training costs a little more than working out by yourself at the gym, and a lot less than seeing a personal trainer. It’s a nice middle ground if you don’t want to have to think about your workout and like having someone to push you to make the most of your training time. You also won’t get very far if your nutrition isn’t right and we’ll help you with that too.

Our most popular Membership option is our Platinum membership which is $59 per week for unlimited access to any/all sessions and locations (including yoga). Most of our girls train 5 times per week so this works out around $11.80 per class. We also have x1, x2 and x3 per week memberships plus casual option. Here’s the full price list.

All memberships and casual options can be purchased through our online store – simply click “Purchase Session” at the top of this page. There is absolutely no joining fee or other hidden fees. Memberships are week to week, there are no contracts so you can pause or cancel at any time with a week’s notice – simply contact us to make any changes.

Before you make a decision on which option is best for you, make sure you’ve taken up our Introductory Offer.

Personal Training sessions are from $90 per session and Health and Fitness Consultations are $120 per session (minimum 2 sessions). Please contact us if you’d like to know more or to make an appointment.

How can I cancel my membership?

Where and when can I train?

You can use your BUF membership or casual class at any location at any time – please see our timetable. Simply sign-up for the session you’d like to attend through our online booking system.

Where exactly do I meet the group?

If you click the any of the class names on the timetable you’ll see a link to a map and directions which can also be found here:

If for some reason you can’t find us, please try calling 02 8004 5311 and leave a message. This will send an email with your voice mail through to our mobile phones and we get a text message alerting us so we might just be able to get back to you in time.

What do I need to bring?

All you need are your trainers, your gym gear, a water bottle and a sweat towel (optional). If it’s your first time make sure your complete your Health and Waiver Form online first.

Why do I need to sign-up for classes?

This just helps us control numbers so that classes don’t get too big, particularly during summer! It also means we can make sure we have enough trainers and equipment available for you at each session. If you’re on the road, you can book in using our free iPhone app or Web app for Android.

What about nutrition?

Training is only part of the solution. Understanding what you eat and what is and isn’t working for you is equally important. Members receive a complimentary food diary analysis and nutritional advice in order to get the most out of their training. Just ask your trainer before or after class.

What results can I expect?

We tend to focus on exercising to feel great but we if you’re not happy with your body shape then of course the right exercise and nutrition can help create some positive changes. How much change is up to you – we can promise you the world but ultimately, you’ll get out what you put in. You can train all you like but if your diet sucks, then you probably won’t get very far! But, if you take a holistic approach then you can expect to achieve some great results. Most of our customers are blown away by how quickly they lose cm off their arms, waist and thighs if that’s what is important for them. One word of warning though: don’t be obsessed with weight alone! Muscle weighs a lot more than fat, so if you’re already reasonably fit you might be surprised to find that you weigh the same but are a lot slimmer.

If you’d like more specific information on results, you might like to check out some of our Success Stories.

I’m worried I won’t be able to keep up, how hard is it?

Please don’t worry about being able to keep up, we work with all levels of fitness and design our sessions to allow people to go at their own pace. If you’re particularly worried though, have a word with your trainer before class and they can help to make sure you get some extra love and attention.

What if I have an injury or other issue that stops me doing some exercises?

Depending on the injury or issue this is usually fine. We can alter most exercises to accommodate things like bad backs, knees, ankles, etc. Just make sure to let us know in advance so we can plan for you.

What happens if it’s raining?

We’re a committed bunch so we train rain, hail or shine. We do try to move things under cover where possible, but a trainer will always be waiting at the usual spot. From time to time we’ll cancel a session due to extreme weather, so the best thing to do is ‘Like’ our Facebook Page and keep an eye out for updates. If training outside is a show stopper, why not try our studio on Bondi Rd, AGOGA.

What if I’m away on holidays?

Easy! If you’re on a membership and you’re heading off on holidays simply contact us through the website and we’ll pause your membership for you. Please try to give us at least a week’s notice so we have time to action your request before your next payment.
